premise It all started in 2009 with first year, then moved to campus and then to hillies. Fast forward four years since the untimely closing of our beloved community & you have unc; a PB community based on the lives of UNC Chapel Hill alumni. We are a group of writers that want to remember the good 'ol days of rp when it was fun and creative and get back in touch with characters we've admired up close and from afar, unfold some more drama, and genuinely have fun all over again.

PB & Challenges Holds will always be first come, first serve. However, if one becomes inactive, please dropbox and we will contact to see if said person is still interested. If when accepted any player decides that their PB choice no longer suits their character or would just like to change, we ask that you comment the Member's Area post and leave a request. Do not change your icons out before we've read and accepted your comment. At this time, we are only allowing for two characters per invited member and we request that you wait a full activity period before bringing in another character; get a feel for the community first!

application The application process is fairly simple. We ask that in lieu of a biography or a detailed list of facts (though if you wish to supply those, that's fine!) you provide a short blurb about your character - feel free to include what they've been up to since their days at UNC (or any other college for those that are invited and choose not to have their characters from UNC), personality changes, life events, etc. Please make sure to friend the mod journal and direct any inquiries to the dropbox. For invited members we require examples and the username of the person who invited you; those can be left in the dropbox as well.

activity As an introduction, former hillies members will be required to answer five survey questions about their time at UNC along with an additional five survey questions of their choosing from the list here. Invited members are required to answer seven survey questions from the list. All members have 72 hours to post an introduction. As promised, we do want this to be as simplistic as possible, but we're looking for longevity, dedication, and enthusiasm we all once shared.

General activity is rather lax. You are free to update as you'd like or as many times as you'd like, as long as it's once every four weeks. It can either be a media post of some type or a written post so long as it's a paragraph or more. We do not wish to hinder anyone's creativity, but we'd appreciate effort being shown as we'd all love to see this community flourish.

**Please make sure when posting any gifs that they be sized to 350x350; members typically use their phones to read the friends page and find it difficult when gifs are too large. Any sensitive material should be posted behind a cut with a trigger warning.

general At this point, we're sure that everyone knows the basic rules for RP. However, just to reiterate: please do not bully other players OOC. If a player comes to us with evidence of such harrassment, we will contact you and give you a warning. If it happens again, you will be removed from the community. Do not God-mod other players. If you are interested in pursuing a mature storyline for your character, we do not require you to contact us for permission, but we do ask that you do your research. For instance, a pregnancy will last for nine months. Please make sure if your line includes other characters, that you discuss it thoroughly with your storyline partner. If you have any questions on how to go about a mature line or would like to discuss it with us, please feel free to comment the mod dropbox.
